BRIEF BIO:

Mackenzie Guice graduated from Bellarmine University May 2019 with a B.A in Painting and a B.S in Art Education. Her work has been exhibited in Bellarmine’s McGrath Art Gallery Annual Student Show and her Senior Exhibition. She has been awarded the Goethals Education Scholarship, Monsignor Terrace Award, Bellarmine Trustee Scholarship and a Pathways to Success Award. She has accumulated over 200 hours field experience in Art Education and completed her student teaching at Little Wound Tribal School in Pine Ridge, South Dakota. Mackenzie was the Head of Arts at Camp Highlander in North Carolina for summers 2018 and 2019. She is currently working on building her experience as an artist and educator by painting frequently and participating as a part time educator at the Louisville Nature Center.
